Objectives: Working with an engineering team and the NJ DOT, we were engaged to provide job, parking and truck traffic forecast data for a new facility consideration on a brown-field site.
Results: Analyzed local traffic and researched historic studies to deliver a current forecast of job opportunities and traffic impact on a new distribution center Jersey City, NJ. We presented our results to the Mayor, and the Jersey City town council, as part of proposed blighted site development project with AMB. The report combated rebuttals and simplified the impact of a distribution center and its supply chain for the citizens and council of Jersey City in public hearing sessions. The results produced a lucid picture of the true issues and resulted in a streamlined review and approval process for the development team.
